PT Mustika Buana Sejahtera (MBS) is a specialist timber panel manufacturer based in Lumajang, East Java. We produce plywood and blockboard exclusively from plantation-grown Albizia Falcata (Sengon) — Indonesia's most renewable timber resource.

Log Selection

Plantation Albizia Falcata logs are graded and selected for moisture content, diameter and structural integrity.

Core preparation and veneer assembly
STEP 02

Core Preparation

Logs are peeled into veneers or cut into core strips. Each sheet is checked for thickness consistency and surface quality.

Quality control at MBS
STEP 03

Assembly & Quality Control

Panels are hot-pressed and subjected to formaldehyde emission testing, bond strength testing and visual grading per CARB / JAS standards.

Export-ready packaging and shipping
STEP 04

Finishing & Export

Panels are sanded, trimmed to specification, marked with certification details and packaged for sea freight with full export documentation.

Common Questions

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?+
Our standard MOQ is 1 × 40-foot High Cube container (approximately 60 CBM). For mixed-product orders across plywood and blockboard, contact us to discuss your requirements.
What are typical production lead times?+
Standard lead time is 4–6 weeks from order confirmation and deposit receipt. Lead times may vary based on product specification, volume and current production schedule. We will confirm exact lead time at the time of quotation.
Which CARB certification do you hold?+
We hold CARB Phase II (ATCM) certification, certificate number TPC6/CARB-ATCM/M019-HWPW014. This covers hardwood plywood panels for sale in California and satisfies US federal TSCA Title VI formaldehyde emission requirements. Certification documentation available on request.
Which port do you ship from?+
We ship from Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya (East Java), approximately 2.5 hours from our facility. We can arrange FOB Surabaya, C&F or CIF terms depending on your preference.
Can we request a sample before placing an order?+
Yes, we can send sample panels (typically 150×300mm cut pieces) via courier. Sample costs and shipping are at buyer's expense. Please include your specification — thickness, grade, glue type — when requesting samples.
What payment terms do you accept?+
Standard terms are 30% deposit on order confirmation, 70% balance before shipment. We accept T/T (bank transfer). Letters of Credit (L/C) may be considered for established buyers.
